Option C — Split by reversibility: automate anything you can undo in under five minutes, augment anything you can't.
Tradeoff: the cleanest rule in practice, but it needs you to sort your recurring tasks once up front, and the sorting itself takes judgment nobody can do for you.

Setting aside: a fourth reading, IA as "information architecture" — different field entirely, unrelated to AI, so comparing them would be a category error rather than a real question. Say the word if that's what you meant.

Honestly unsure: I don't know which reading you intended, and I'm not going to guess and then build confidently on the guess.

WHO DECIDES: Reading 1 is decided by the fact itself — the terms are identical, no judgment involved. Reading 2 is yours, because the deciding variable is what a wrong output costs at your desk, and you're the only one who knows that number.
